How PDO threads look like? Just a needle that is pre-loaded with a PDO thread. This pre-loaded needle is inserted under the skin, then needle pulled out and PDO thread remains under the skin.

First, to make the procedure more comfortable, an anesthetic cream is applied to the area treated. The procedure usually takes 30 – 60 minutes. The needles are placed just under the skin at specific points on the face and neck to get the most effective skin lifting and tightening effect. By placing the PDO threads in the face and neck, we get immediate improvement in their appearance. You actually see the lift! In addition, in about 10-14 days, the production of the body’s natural collagen and elastin begins resulting in further skin tightening.

Side effects are minimal but may include swelling and bruising that last 2-3 days, and patients can continue with normal daily activities immediately after the treatment.

PDO thread lift is a treatment indicated primarily for patients who are 35-60 years old. PDO threads treatment is an ideal procedure for both men and women who desire to prevent signs of aging or already see minimal skin sagging and loss of skin elasticity. There are usually no medical contraindications for PDO thread lift and only conditions that might postpone the treatment are active skin infection and severe bleeding disorder. If you take aspirin or any other blood thinner we recommend to stop taking it before procedure after consulting your medical doctor.
